Ending the Search: From Spiritual Ambition to the Heart of Awareness
We were speaking about themes from Dorothy's new book, Ending the Search: From Spiritual Ambition to the Heart of Awareness. The book is down-to-earth and practical, and at the same time a very powerful invitation into the silence of true being. The video starts off with a guided meditation led by Dorothy.
About Dorothy:
Dorothy serves as Spiritual Director of Moon Mountain Sangha, teaching at the request of Adyashanti. She has practiced psychotherapy since 1967 and is the founder of the San Francisco Center for Meditation and Psychotherapy. Self-inquiry, as taught by Ramana Maharshi, led to the first of a series of awakenings. In meeting Adyashanti, she was invited to see beyond identifications with either the Absolute or the relative. She is the author of Only This!, Leaves from Moon Mountain, and Ending the Search: From Spiritual Ambition to the Heart of Awareness, and a contributing author to The Sacred Mirror, Listening from the Heart of Silence, and the on-line journal Undivided. She offers satsang, retreats, and private meetings in the San Francisco Bay area and elsewhere by invitation. www.dorothyhunt.org
