Life challenge: Being 'in the world but not of it' -- having a regular job

Picture
Joi is a non-dual spiritual teacher and a working woman with a regular job. How do these two aspects of her life play out? Here is what Joi writes about this:

I have always been extremely sensitive, and my "truth-meter" goes off all day long while I am at work. It's just what happens... it's how I'm wired. Yet, the Field is always including all my co-workers, no matter what, and it has been very interesting to see how, by being a conduit for Truth, I can assist in the evolution of consciousness, even when "others" aren't looking for it consciously.

About Joi

Picture
Since Joi was a small child she was always aware of a presence of Love all around her, and this presence has been her constant companion through many different stages of her journey. Joi met Amma in 1993, and spent ten years at her ashram in India where most of what she believed in was stripped away. Joi delights in deepening her direct relationship with the Totality, and this is her priority in Life. She directly knows that the Totality is using our body as a sensing guide for consciousness, and that the body/mind is being transformed by its direct and uncompromised relationship with the Totality. Her story can be viewed at BATGAP.com. Her website is www.joisharp.com.
