We shared our experiences of witnessing death and the 'portal' this opens to direct experiences of the absolute and of the divine, loving intelligence that 'orchestrates' our lives. We talked about the radiance that shines in and through all of us... and much more...

What a beautiful, intimate sharing the Love Live event turned out to be!
With Marlies Cocheret, Susanne Marie, and surprise guests Jeannie McGillivray and Nishkala Jenney. Enjoy!

Thank you to all of you for gathering in this new way, and for appreciating the event so fully! Some of the comments from messages I received afterwards are now on the comments page, and all the comments on the live YouTube comment thread can be found in this document. Unfortunately, YouTube no longer leaves these comments up, but I've found a way of copying and pasting them into a document before they disappear, so that people can get an impression of the 'spirit' of the live event even afterwards. Thank you also to Unmani, Canela Michelle Meyers, Pernilla Lillarose, and Michael Damian, for joining us for this event and for sharing their insights and their Love!
Surprise guest teachers: Some of the surprise guests from among all the nondual spiritual teachers who have been on retreats or in conversations so far are no longer a real surprise: Unmani, Susanne Marie, Canela Michelle Meyers, and Michael Damian, have already confirmed their presence by signing up for the facebook event. There are others who indicated to me that they'll be with us. I won't name them, just so there is still an element of surprise! One of them will tell a story, another one perform one of her poems, and Jeannie McGillivray will share an idea with us she has of a global love event that can bring healing to this world. How can you participate? There's no need to register. The links for watching and commenting on YouTube and for joining the Google hangout live are on the home page of this website. The links will go 'live' a few minutes before the event starts, so all you need to do is go to the home page and click on the links once they are active. It's that simple! I look forward to sharing this event with you! In love and service grace PS: Do you like the 'Using technology for love' pic? I created it myself on www.canva.com, a very neat site where you can design your own images. I don't get any commission for this, I just felt like sharing a neat resource with other creative spirits! How can technology be used for love, as Andrius from Lithuania put it so succinctly in his comment on the last retreat? The upcoming event, Love Live: a gathering in the Heart, is an experiment in doing so live on the internet in a new way, providing a space for us to gather and to inquire into Love, to speak Love, to be Love. It's a form of satsang (gathering to inquire into Truth), but the focus is on the Love aspect/expression of Truth, of What Is. You may recall the title of Mooji's session on the last retreat: Love and Truth are One. Love Live will take place on Valentine's weekend, on Sunday 15 February 2015, starting at 10 am PDT, 1 pm EDT, 6 pm GMT (UK), 7 pm MET (Europe). It will go on for 2 - 3 hours, depending on the movement of the moment (for times in other time zones CLICK HERE). We will have surprise guests: I have written to all the teachers who have been on retreats or in conversations so far, to invite them to join in in some way. They will contribute as they feel moved, either live or by writing in. Most of all, though, the vision that came to me for this event was as a gathering of all of us, a (virtual) community or sangha event in which all of us participate as we are moved by Love. So you, too, can surprise us with what you contribute: maybe a poem, or an experience, or a question, or a reflection. The hangout will be open to all of you, all of us, including the teachers who join in. I may guide you in a meditation ... we'll see how the spirit of Love moves me! The idea is really to let Love lead and reveal itself as it will. I very much look forward to sharing this new adventure with you! In Love and joy, grace As the new year starts, many wish us Happy New Year, some wish us Happy Eternal Now ... illustrating perfectly the duality we live in as human beings. To me, what makes most sense is to wish you peace with however your life unfolds at the human level, and that awakening may deepen in you as it does so. Life is always such an invitation to discover more fully what is in, and also beyond, all that is happening. New online offerings in 2015 You'll find the details of all the events coming up in 2015 on the home page. There are three different types of events over the next few months:
Do you have any suggestions or comments? I'm always open to what you send my way! In fact, I found out about Will Pye because one of you suggested I talk to him. And the Love Live event was also inspired partly by a message that Andrius from Lithuania sent me, thanking me for giving 'an example for how technology could be used for love'. Somehow, this touched my heart deeply ... maybe because it felt like it summed up what it is I feel called to do with these online events? You'll find his message on the comments page. I look forward to continuing this online adventure with you! With love and gratitude, grace Image credit: satit_srihin at freedigitalphotos.net. Dear all, I needed to take a day of rest after the intensity of the retreat experience, but my heart is still so full with it: with the truth and beauty of the teachings that were shared, all so very different in 'flavor' and 'perfume'; with your very active and open participation and appreciation; with the sheer magic of the live questions and interaction that is possible over the internet. We have met and are connected in the Heart all-ways! And may the Yes in your heart take you into Truth and Love ever more fully and deeply! ... about the upcoming retreat. Most of the questions are actually answered on the FAQs page. Like:
I'm happy to answer questions, and I'm really happy that people are so interested and engaged. Really, it makes my heart sing and makes it all worthwhile! But these are really the busiest days for me, full of a lot of details that need to be taken care of before everything is set and ready to go. I'm surprised my brain hasn't gone up in smoke yet! (My strategy: I do one thing at a time, and I trust that all that needs to be done will drop into my head before it's too late. It actually works amazingly well and keeps my head manageably cool!) This is essentially a one-woman-show, and I do appreciate having time to relax as well. Like just now, I've come back from a tai chi class that I decided I wasn't going to skip because I was too busy. But I did just cancel the meditation evening that I was going to lead tomorrow, just because it's not realistic. I don't really have the time. So, please, do me a favor and check the FAQs page before you send off this e-mail to me! And now I'm off to bed... Images by Salvatore Vuono (?) and jesadaphorn (busy guy), freedigitalphotos.net. Tim Freke, talking about oneness, separateness, and love, in his very unique and engaging way! Enjoy, and join me on Sunday to watch the whole conversation as part of the retreat.
I don't know anything, I just know how to change hearts. Neem Karoli Baba Dear all,
Registrations have gone past 1700 as of today, and they continue to come in. It looks like this retreat is going to be really BIG! I am very thrilled and somewhat awed about this, as the topic and the teachers are so close to my heart and I love sharing this with all of you ... I had to check, though, whether there are any upper limits to YouTube live streaming (which is the platform that I'm using for you to be able to watch the live sessions), and it turns out that there has been one live stream with 6 million people watching! So we'll be fine even if a lot more people join the retreat. How do you actually participate in the retreat? Some of you have sent in messages asking how the participation works. So just to let you know that if you're registered, you'll receive a message towards the end of this week (by Friday at the latest) with all the info you need to know about the retreat, including the more technical aspects of participating. The detailed retreat program for those of you who haven't seen it yet (including the approximate length of the sessions and a link to check your local time) can be found underneath the Retreats tab on this website, or CLICK HERE to go to it directly. Spread the word There are many ways you can spread the word about the retreat:
I look forward to 'seeing you' all for the retreat! With joy and gratitude, grace |
